Imperial''s Resources Division manages the company''s natural resource operations and is based in Calgary, Alberta. It is one of Canada''s largest producers of crude oil and natural gas. It is a leading developer of Canada''s vast oil sands resources through its 25 percent ownership of the Syncrude project and its operations at Cold Lake, Alberta.
Kearl Oilsands Mine Crushers. Imperial Oil intends to start work in 2018 on a $550 million debottleneck project at the Kearl Oilsands mine. The project will increase the production capacity by 20,000 bbls/d, to a total of 240,000 bbls/d. This project will add additional crushing capacity to create an offset when the plant has equipment maintenance.

Kearl has an estimated 4.6 billion barrels of recoverable bitumen resource, which will help meet North America’s energy needs for the next 40 years. Production at Kearl’s initial development began in April 2013 while the start-up of the Kearl expansion in mid-2015 brought production capacity to 220,000 bpd.
Kearl’s total gross production for 2019 averaged 205,000 barrels per day. Consistent with plans, Kearl’s supplemental crushing facilities became operational and are expected to further improve reliability, reduce planned downtime, lower unit costs and enable the asset to achieve 240,000 barrels per day of total gross production in 2020.
The Jaw crusher is used for Primary crushers and Secondary crushers for crushing all kinds of minerals and rocks with compressive strength less than 320 mpa... Both as primary or secondary crusher the CGM horizontal impact crushers are used to hard work and major challenges
Total gross bitumen production at Kearl averaged 226,000 barrels per day (160,000 barrels Imperial’s share), up from 180,000 barrels per day (127,000 barrels Imperial’s share) in the first quarter of 2019. Higher production was mainly due to the ramp-up of the supplemental crushing facilities through the first quarter of 2020.
NPK’s Concrete Crushers are Designed to Effectively Handle Any Primary and/or Secondary Demolition and Recycling Operation. by randyj , March 13, 2017 NPK concrete pulverizers easily crush through reinforced concrete and cut through light steel structures allowing material to be separated and recycled, and simultaneously, permits easier
Exxon Mobil Kearl Oil Sands slurry preparation plants. The project consisted of the design/construction of facilities for the conversion of the oil sands into a slurry composition. Two trains were designed with a 10,000 tph capacity each. MGA''s scope of work included, structural, mechanical and piping engineering.
And then the coarsely crushed material is sent to the PSG900 cone crusher by the belt conveyor for secondary crushing into 13-38mm, then is fed into the sand maker for further crushing. Kearl Mine | Oil Sands Magazine. Aug 31, 2021· Feb 2, 2018. Imperial Oil puts Kearl on a path towards 240,000 barrels per day by 2020. Feb 2, 2018.

“It''s Crush Hour!” —Crusher''s official catchphrase Crusher is an Earth Skylander and one of the eight Giants in Skylanders: Giants. Single-minded and completely unstoppable, Crusher crashes through any situation with the subtlety of a three-ton hammer. He''s also incredibly thick-skinned
Metso’s Nordberg MP Series cone crushers put that goal within easy reach. MP stands for maximum power, and no similarly-sized conventional crusher can match the performance of the MP1000 or the MP800. The MP Series’ patented design reflects Metso’s leadership in crushing technology.
Kearl Oil Sands Project Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Kearl mine is one of Canada’s largest oil sands deposits with a gross production rate capacity of 220,000 barrels per day. The mining area contains approximately 4.6 billion barrels of bitumen resources which are expected to be recovered over a 40-year span.
While the Secondary and the Tertiary crusher’s travels between 500-600 R.P.M. This difference in the speed results in a HAMMERING type crushing action over the SQUEEZING type employed by the primary. The other most noticeable change is the crushing action of the mantle. In the Gyratory all the movement is in the bottom of the crusher mantle
A PROVEN PROCESS. Fort Hills now has the distinct advantage of not being the first to produce marketable bitumen, following in the footsteps of Imperial Oil''s Kearl process. The greenfield project consists of a mining facility, a bitumen production plant, a tailings storage area, utilities and all supporting infrastructure. The Secondary Extraction plant will employ a High-Temperature
Imperial Oil has today confirmed a precautionary shutdown of its Kearl oil sand operations in Alberta, Canada, due to the early detection of a vibration issue with the plant’s ore crusher. Crusher problems have temporarily shut down the Kearl oil sands operation Resources > Oil-sands; 17 November 2014
COMEC secondary jaw crushers are mainly used as post-crushers, but also as primary crushers for alluvial material with grain sizes from 300 to 500 mm. Solution A perfectly organized workflow between the individual crusher components, especially the highly sophisticated crushing chamber, ensures increased working speed.
Cone crushers are similar to gyratory crushers in that they have a mantle that rotates within a bowl, but the chamber is not as steep. They are compression crushers that generally provide reduction ratios of 6-to-1 to 4-to-1. Cone crushers are used in secondary, tertiary and quaternary stages.

Raw material of various sizes are brought to the primary crusher by rear-dump haul units, or carried by a wheel front-end loader. Primary crushing reduces excavated rock to a more manageable size. There are different types of primary secondary and tertiary crushers including jaw crushers, gyratory crushers, impact crushers, and autogenous crushers.
KDC secondary hydraulic cone crushers are used for the crushing of hard, abrasive, non-sticky materials of compression strength up to 400 MPa (e.g. quartz, granite or basalt). Each crusher size is supplied with ungrouted crushing elements. The shape of the crushing elements allows high capacity use while covering the widest range of customers
The MP1000 cone crusher availability is further enhanced by the hydraulic clearing system. With a large vertical stroke, material can fall easily and this provides consistent stroke capabilities throughout the entire liners life. High performance Nordberg® MP1000 cone crusher brings cone crusher performance to a new level.
